TOUR ITINERARY


Day 01 :: Arrival Mumbai  
Arrival at the international airport. Our officer will receive you with warm welcome and assist you to transfer to the hotel.
Overnight stray at the hotel.

Day 02 :: Mumbai Tour 
After breakfast have a guided tour of Mumbai city which includes Gateway of India. Then visit the Marine drive, Princes of Wales Museum, Hanging Garden and Dhobi Ghats.
Overnight stay at the hotel. 

Day 03 :: Mumbai -Excursion tour to Elephanta caves 
After breakfast you will be transferred to the jetty at Gateway of India from where you will catch a ferry for Elephant Island. Elephanta caves-Elephanta Island, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. The hour-long trip also provides a good introduction to Hinduism; the guides on board describe the religious significance of what you're about to see, though the origins of the Shiva temple caves -- thought to date from the revivalist Hindu movement between A.D. 450 and 750 -- remain obscure.
Return to the city. Rest of the day free to explore the city on your own.

Day 04 :: Mumbai / Nashik (185 Kms/ 4  Hrs drive approx)
After breakfast leave for Nashik. On arrival check into the hotel. Get relaxed and later you will visit the Panchvati area where river Godavari flows. As per Hindu mythology, Lord Rama along with his wife Sita and brother Lakshman spent some time here. Later visit Trimbakeshver Temple-which is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas (Shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva) in India. The remarkable feature of the Jyotirlinga located here is that it has three faces that embody Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva. Trimbakeshwar is significant in two ways - apart from being the abode and one of the twelve jyotirlingas, it is the source of the Godavari river, one of the two holiest watercourses of Maharashtra. After the Darshan, you will drive back to Nashik.

Day 05 :: Nashik / Shirdi (90 Kms / 2  Hrs drive approx)
After breakfast at hotel, you will be driven to Shirdi. The Shirdi Saibaba Temple, located at Shirdi, draws thousands of devotees of all religions, castes and creed who come to pay homage to Shri Sai Baba. The temple is a beautiful shrine that was built over the Samadhi of Shri Sai Baba. Temple was established in 1922 to carry out the services of Shri Sai Baba. At age of 16 yrs Sai Baba arrived at Shirdi in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra and remained their till his death. Upon arrival, you will check into hotel. After some rest, you will proceed for Darshan. You will spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 06 :: Shirdi / Aurangabad (110 Kms / 2-3 Hrs drive approx)
After breakfast drive to Aurangabad. On arrival check into the hotel. Later visit Ellora Caves (Closed on Tuesdays)-locally known as rul Leni s  located on the Aurangabad-Chalisgaon road at a distance of 30 km north-northwest of Aurangabad, the district headquarters. The name Ellora itself inspires everyone as it represents one of the largest rock-hewn monastic-temple complexes in the entire world. Ellora is also world famous for the largest single monolithic excavation in the world, the great Kailasa (Cave 16). The visit to these caves is enjoyed maximum during monsoon, when every stream is filled with rainwater, and the entire environ is lush green. The monsoon is not only a season of rains in this part, the local visitors are attracted to visit these ideal locations to have a glimpse of the mother nature in full bloom. Later drive to visit Bibi Ka Maqbara- is the tomb of Begum Rabia Durani, wife of Emperor Aurangzeb. The arched alcove surmounted by a swelling dome, exhibit the excellence of Persian architecture. Later drive to Daultabad to visit Daultabad Fort-Once known as 'Devgiri', this magnificent 12th century fortress stands on a hill just 13 kms. from Aurangabad. It was given the name Daulatabad,the' city of fortune', by Muhamad Tughlaq, Sultan of Delhi. Initially a Yadav stronghold, it passed through the hands of several dynasties in the Deccan.One of the world's best preserved fort of medieval times, surviving virtually unaltered, Daulatabad yet displays the character that made it invincible.

Day 07 :: Aurangabad / Ajanta Caves / Aurangabad (90 Kms/ 2-3  Hrs)
After breakfast drive to Ajanta to visit (Guided tour) Ajanta Caves-(Closed on Mondays)-are situated at a distance of 107 km north of Aurangabad, the district headquarters. The caves attained the name from a nearby village named Ajanta located about 12 km. These caves were discovered by an Army Officer in the Madras Regiment of the British Army in 1819 during one of his hunting expeditions. These caves are excavated in horseshoe shaped bend of rock surface nearly 76 m in height overlooking a narrow stream known as Waghora. The location of this valley provided a calm and serene environment for the Buddhist monks who retreated at these secluded places during the rainy seasons. This retreat also provided them with enough time for furthering their religious pursuits through intellectual discourses for a considerably longer period. The caves were excavated in different periods (circa. 2nd century B.C. to 6th century A.D.) according to the necessity. 
Later in the evening drive to back to Aurangabad. Overnight stay at the hotel. 
 
Day 08 :: Aurangabad / Pune (250 Kms/ 5-6  Hrs)
After breakfast drive to Pune. On arrival check into the hotel. Rest of the day free.

Day 09 :: Pune / Mahableshwar excursion tour/ Pune (120 Kms/ 2-3 Hrs- One way)
After an early breakfast you will be ready for an excursion tour to Mahabaleshwar.
Mahabaleshwar:-Soaring peaks, breathtaking valleys.  Lush flora.  Cool, crisp mountain air.  This is Mahabaleshwar, Maharashtra’s most popular hill station, and once the summer capital of the Bombay Presidency during the British Raj. Mahabaleshwar means ‘God of Great Power’ in Sanskrit.  Indeed, the place is great and bountiful, rewarding the visitor with a mix of old-world charm, natural beauty and modernity. The town bazaar is called Malcolm Peth after the then British Governor of Bombay, Sir John Malcolm.  It lies at the heart of Mahableshwar with its hotels, shops, restaurants, outlying bungalows, government offices, and jostling crowds.
In the evening drive back to Pune. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pune.

Day 10 :: Pune / Mumbai (150 Kms/ 3-4  Hrs) 
After an early breakfast drive to Mumbai. In Mumbai you will be dropped at the hotel. Rest of the day free at your leisure.

Day 11 :: Mumbai -Excursion tour to / Kanheri Caves ( Sanjay Gandhi National Park) (30 Kms/ 45-50 minutes-one way)
After breakfast you will be taken to Sanjay Gandhi National Park. Where you can visit Kanheri Caves.
Kanheri Caves:-At the northern tip of Mumbai, in Borivili, lies the magnificent Sanjay Gandhi National Park. It is the breathing space for stressed out Mumbaikars who wish to go birding, or just a walk in the forest! Nestled in the green environs are the glorious Kanheri caves. These caves date back to 11th century AD and beyond. As per the records work on these caves began in 1st century BC and carried on right through 11th century AD. It is 6 km from the National Park Main Gate. Kanheri comes from the Sanskrit word Krishnagiri generally meaning black in color. They were chiseled out of a massive basaltic rock outcropping.There are 109 rock-cut cells, carved into the side of a hill. Each cave has a stone plinth for a bed. A congregation hall with huge stone pillars contains the stupa, a Buddhist shrine.
Later drive back to the city.

Day 12 :: Mumbai / Goa (Flight)
After breakfast you will be dropped at the airport to catch the flight for Goa. In Goa you will be dropped at the Hotel.
Rest of the day free on the beach. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 13 :: Goa 
Full day free on the beach.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 14 :: Goa 
Full day free on the beach.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 15 :: Goa / Mumbai (Flight)/ Departure 
Morning free on the beach. Later you will be dropped at the airport to catch the flight for Mumbai. In Mumbai you may get your international connection for onward journey.
