Day 01 :: Arrival Chennai
Arrival at the airport. Our officer / representative will receive you with warm welcome and assist you to transfer to the hotel.

Day 02 :: Chennai Tour
After breakfast sightseeing of Chennai city which includes Fort St. George- located on the banks of Bay of Bengal, was built by the British East India Company in 1640 AD. The fort is believed to be the first establishment of the British in India. The military architecture marvel, it was erected as a trading post. War Memorials-If you want to explore the vibrant heroic past of India, visit the War Memorial of Chennai. The memorials are dedicated to those soldiers who laid their lives for the welfare of the nation as well as those who died as martyrs, serving their nation. Thousand Lights Mosque-The 'Thousand Lights Mosque' is a well-known holyplace for Muslims in Chennai. The Mosque attracts number of non-Muslims as well and is primarily popular for a number of reasons, such as its name, its architecture and its historical and religious importance.Aslo visit Parthasarathy Temple-The temple situated at Triplicane pays homage to Lord Krishna, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu for playing role of the charioteer of the brave warrior Arjuna in the battle field of Mahabharata. Evening free on Marina Beach- is situated at Kamaraj Road, just 3 km away from the city Chennai. Extending to a length of 13 km, it is considered to be second largest beach of the world covering the region from St. George Fort to Mahabalipuram.

Day 03 :: Chennai / Kanchipuram/Mamallapooram (150 Kms/ 3-4  Hrs)
After breakfast drive to Kanchipuram -This city was the ancient capital of the Pallavas and was known for its 1000 temples, many of them are still used to this day. The most famous being the Sri Kamakshi temple. The city is today well known for the silks it produces. Later drive to Mamallapooram. Mamallapooram earlier known as Mahabalipooram was a port during the Pallava period. It has some of the most beautiful rock cut temples in South India. It also is home to the famous Shore Temple that is unique because Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu are housed in the same sanctum sanctorum. Visit Arjuna Penanc & Panch Ratha. Later check into the hotel.

Day 04 :: Mamallapooram / Pondicherry (100 Kms/ 2-3  Hrs)
After breakfast drive to Pondicherry. This town has a strong French influence, as it was an erstwhile French colony. Check in at the hotel. Rest of the day free at your leisure.

Day 05 :: Pondicherry Tour
In the morning after breakfast visit Aurobindo Ashram, which is 10kms north of Pondicherrry. After lunch at the hotel visit Auroville an interesting experiment where people from various nationalities live together in harmony.

Day 06 :: Pondicherry / Chidambara / Tanjore (175 Kms/ 3-4 Hrs)
After breakfast drive to Chidambaram (65kms/1.5hrs) to visit the famous Nataraja Temple. The roof of the sanctum sanctorum is gold plated. Here Lord Shiva is depicted as the cosmic dancer-Nataraja. After lunch at a local restaurant drive to Tanjavur or Tanjore (110 kms/2-3hrs). On the way visit a Brass factory at Kumbakonam. Tanjore was the capital of the Chola dynasty and has the famous Brahadeswara Temple. Check into the hotel.

Day 07 :: Tanjore / Trichy / Madurai (200 Kms/ 4-5 Hrs)
After breakfast visit magnificent and beautiful Chola temple, the Brihadeshwara temple. This temple is capped by a monolithic cupola made of a single granite block weighing 80 tons which was taken to the top with the help of a 6 km long ramp- an old technique used by the Egyptians for building pyramids. Go down the history while visiting the Palace and its Art Gallery, which contains several granite and bronze statues of the Chola period.
Later drive to Madurai via Trichy. In Trichy visit temple (Rock fort) dedicated to Lord Ganapathi. It is a magnificent temple where 434 steps cut out into the rock side, interspersed with shrines, lead to the temple. Visit Srirangam, a huge temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, on an Island in Cauvery River, which contains within its walls a Bazaar (traditional market of India) as well. You will be amazed to see twenty-one magnificent towers of the temple, surrounded by seven walls. Proceed for Madurai. On arrival check into the hotel.

Day 08 :: Madurai Tour
After breakfast  you'll be having tour to famous Sri Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple-is a historic Hindu temple located in the south side of river Vaigai in the temple city of Madurai. It is dedicated to Parvati who is known as Meenakshi and her consort, Shiva named here as Sundareswarar(beautiful deity). The temple forms the heart and lifeline of the 2500 year old city of Madurai. Also visit . Thirumalai Nayak Mahal-is one of the important palace which was built by Thirumalai Nayaakar in 1636. The paintings, carvings and designing of the mahal shows the amazing talents of the nayak kings. This Mahal is situated 2kms south east of Meenakshi Amman Temple. A classic example of the Indo-saracenic style, the piece de resistance of this mahal is its carved dome outsoars without the support of girders or rafters. Head towards to visit  Mariamman Teppakulam Tank-Also know as Vandiyur Mariamman Teppakulam is situated at a distance of about 5 km from the Meenakshi Amman Temple. The area of the tank, and the island pavilion with a garden in the center, is approximately equal to the area of Meenakshi Temple. It is one of the largest temple tanks in South India and gets water supply from the Vaigai River. There is a Vinayakar temple situated right in the middle of the tank, which is dedicated to Lord Vigneshwara, the Elephant-faced God.

Day 09 :: Madurai / Kodaikanal (120 Kms/ 3-4 Hrs)
After breakfast leave for Kodaikanal. On arrival check into the hotel. Get relaxed for the day.

Day 10 :: Kodaikanal / Ooty (250 Kms/ 6-7 Hrs)
After breakfast visit Bear Shola Falls, Devil's Kitchen, Green Valley View, Cowalker’s  and Pillar Rocks. Later drive towards Ooty. On arrival in Ooty check into the hotel. Get relaxed for the day.

Day 11 :: Ooty Tour
After breakfast visit Ooty Lake-The artificially formed lake is the gift of the then collector of Combatore John Sullivan. The lake is 65 acres in area. The lake is about 2.75 Kms long and 100 to 140 meters breadth. The Tamilnadu Tourism Development Corporation has rowing, pedaling and motor boats for hire. The lake has a boat house. People enjoy boating. The children’s park on the banks with its toy train going around the lake is a memorable experience for all children. Visit Botanical Garden-was more than 150 years old. But it attracts old and young with all its colorful plants, flowers, the vast sprawling and well groomed lawn. It was laid out in 1847 by the Marquis of Tweedale, the then Governor of Madras Presidency. He called for the help of Mr.W.G McIvor who was in Royal Botanical garden in Kew. He took ten years to develop it into present shape. Doddapetta peak: is 10 Kms from Ooty. Doddapetta means- that clouds often meet and rest at this peak of the mountains. The peak hides itself amidst the friendly clouds or fog. If the sky is clear, you are sure to have a sight of long distant plains of Mysore and Coimbatore; let luck favors you. Rose Garden-As a part of Centenary celebrations of Ooty Flower Show, Rose garden was formed in four hectares of land on the slopes of Elk Hill. The terrace farming was implemented. It has got five terraces. Various varieties of Roses were collected. Today the varieties available have crossed 2800 species. Rest of the day free at your leisure.

Day 12 :: Ooty / Mudumalai National Park (50 Kms/ 1 Hr)
After breakfast drive to Mudumalai National Park. On arrival check into the hotel/ Resort. Later enjoy the safari to the Sanctuary.
Mudumalai National Park- Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary & National Park is situated at the tri-junction of Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka on the North Eastern Slopes of the Nilgiris part of Western Ghats descending to the Mysore Plateau. An erstwhile game reserve, Mudumalai was declared a wildlife sanctuary with a 62 sq KM area in the early 1940 by the then Madras Presidency. It is an exciting place to see Elephant, Gaur, Chowsingha, Mouse deer and Sloth bear. The animals include, Tiger, Panther, Sambar, Spotted Deer, Barking Deer, Blackbuck, Common Langur, Malabar Giant Squirrel, Flying Squirrel, Four-horned Antelope (Chowsingha), Wild Dog, Jackal, Mongoose, Jungle Cat, Rusty Spotted Cat, Leopard Cat Striped Hyena, Leopard-cat, Small Indian Civet, Striped-necked Mongoose, Ruddy Mongoose, Sloth Bear, Indian Giant Squirrel,, Sloth Bear, Wild Boar, Porcupine, Striped Hyena, Slender Lories, etc.. Tigers are largely elusive but leopards or a pack of Wild Dog, on the move are frequently seen. 

Day 13 :: Mudumalai National Park / Coimbatore (130 Kms/ 2-3 Hrs) / Departure
After breakfast you will be driven to Coimbatore. On arrival you will be dropped at the airport or Railway station for onward journey.
