Day 01 :: Arrival at Chennai.
On arrival at Chennai Airport/Railway station you will be met by our officer /  representative and transferred to your hotel. Get relaxed and later visit Kapaleshwar Temple, Fort St. George, Government Museum and Marina Beach.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02 :: Chennai / Mahabalipuram ( 60 Kms / 1-2 Hrs)
After breakfat drive to Mahabalipuram. On arrival check into the hotel. Later visit  World Heritage site the  Shore Temple, Pancha Pandava Rathas, Arjunas Penance, Caves and Mandapams. After lunch set out for an excursion tour to  Kanchipuram (also known as the Silk City). Visit  Ekambareshvara Temple, Kailasanatha Templeand Kamakshi Amman Temple. Return to Mahabalipuram.

Day 03 :: Mahabalipuram / Pondicherry ( 110 Kms / 3 Hrs)
After a spontaneous breakfast leave for Pondicherry. On arrival visit Aurobindo Ashram, Government Museum, Chunambar Boat House - where you have options for boating and canoeing. Also visit the Auroville town - a UNESCO endorsed utopian society.

Day 04 :: Pondicherry
Get relaxed for the day. Have shopping in Pondicherry that is known to be a paradise for shoppers Pondicherry is a coastal town on Indias Coromandel Coast that has a non-Indian flavor with its mix of French & Tamil culture with the laid-back feel of a college town.

Day 05 :: Pondicherry / Tanjavur (Tanjore) (180 Kms/ 4-5 Hrs)
After breakfast leave for Tanjore also known as Thanjavur. Enroute visit the Darasuram and Gangai Konda Cholapuram Temples (UNESCO Heritage sites). On arrival check-in to the hotel. Later visit  the Bragadeeshwara Temple (also called the Big Temple); this gigantic structure, an architectural marvel is one among the best of Chola Temples ever built and exhibits the highly progressive culture of the Chola Empire that ruled almost 1000 years ago.

Day 06 :: Tanjavur / Trichy / Madurai (200 Kms/ 4-5 Hrs)
After breakfast drive to Madurai via Trichy. In Trichy visit Rock Fort and Raghunath Temple. Proceed for Madurai. On arrival, check-in to the  hotel and later visit the UNESCO Heritage temple town that has the richest heritage of Dravidian culture about 2500 years old. Visit Meenakshi Amman Temple (a 7th century temple), Gandhi Museum and also the Thiruparankundram Temple - one among the six abodes (meaning Six Battle Camps, also called Arupadai Veedu) of Lord Muruga.

Day 07 :: Madurai / Karaikudi / Madurai (95 Kms/ 2  Hrs-one way)
After breakfast have an excursion tour to Karaikudi. On arrival visit Chettinad as a region is famous for the Chettinad House and many fantastic specimens can be seen the town of Karaikudi. Just beside the Rajas palace is the house converted to a museum, the Chettinad Museum. An interested tourist may also visit the factories of the famous Athangudi tiles. A guide might also educate you on how the terracotta tiles are made. It is said that the local variety of sand does the trick.
Later drive back to Madurai.

Day 08 :: Madurai / Departure
After breakfast you will be dropped at the airport to catch the flight for Chennai. From Chennai you may catch your international connection for onward journey.
