Day 02 :: Delhi Tour
After breakfast full day sightseeing tour of Delhi city which
includes Red Fort-The history of Red Fort Delhi cannot be summed up in
words as its history is connected with centuries of Mughal rule in country.
Mughal ruler Shah Jahan had varied needs of this fort and it was made according
to those needs. The mammoth sized fort made a distinguished presence in the
medieval time of India and is related to the time line of this country to this
date. Later visit Jama Masjid-This great mosque of Old Delhi is the
largest in India, with a courtyard capable of holding 25,000 devotees. Also visit Qutub, Minar-is a
soaring, 73 m-high tower of victory, built in 1193 by Qutab-ud-din Aibak
immediately after the defeat of Delhi's last Hindu kingdom. The tower has five distinct
storeys, each marked by a projecting balcony and tapers from a 15 m diameter at
the base to just 2.5 m at the top. Lotus Temple-this temple is built in
the shape of a lotus flower and is the last of seven Major Bahai's temples
built around the world. Completed in1986 it is set among the lush green
landscaped gardens., India Gate-At the centre of New Delhi stands
the 42 m high India Gate, an "Arc-de-Triomphe" like archway in the
middle of a crossroad. Almost similar to its French counterpart, it commemorates
the 70,000 Indian soldiers who lost their lives fighting for the British Army
during the World War I. Also visit Rashtrapati Bhavan OR Presidential
Palace.

Day 03 :: Delhi / Alwar (170 Kms/ 3-4 Hrs)
After breakfast drive to Alwar. On arrival check into the hotel.
Alwar-among the Rajput principalities was the closest to imperial Delhi.
People of this region were daring adventurers. They did not submit to alien
rule; they rebelled. In 1771 A.D. , Pratap Singh , a Kachhawaha Rajput
belonging to the same clan as the one which ruled Jaipur won Alwar from Mughals
and founded a principality of his own. A historic and eminent fort guards its
highest hill and is reminiscent of a regal way of life. Alwar is surrounded by
the Aravali Hills and has a unique recognition because of Sariska Van
Abhyaranya , Bala-Quila and Silished.
Day 04 :: Alwar Tour
After breakfast have tour to Alwar & surrounding which
includes Alwar Fort- is nestled in a steep hill that is 300 meters above
the city. The magnificent fort is a great landmark of the Alwar. The fort has a
lot of historical significance. It was built before the Mughal period in the
16th century. Moreover, it is also believed that Babur once came to the fort in
order to dodge his enemies. History associated to the fort also reveals that
the fort was taken over by Rana Pratap Singh in 1775. However, there is no
consensus among historians to draw a conclusion to this. It is also believed
that Nikumbh Rajput built the palace in 928 A.D. Hence, the history of fort
draws a lot of confusion and curiosity. This curiosity often acts as an appeal
for the tourists. Also drive to visit Bala Quila is one of the most
popular tourist destinations of Alwar. During 10th century, Nikumbha clan of
Rajputs had founded the magnificent Bala Quila. You would also enjoy a complete
view of city from Bala Quila, as it is positioned on hill top. Accessibility of
Bala Quila from the city center is approximately 15 kms. City Palace Alwar-Built
by Raja Bakhtayar Singh in the year 1793 A.D, the City Palace is one of the
major tourist attractions in Alwar. The palace is a perfect tourist spot for

Mantar- It is one of the 5 observatories built by the former ruler of

instruments, whose setting and shapes are scientifically designed. . Later
visit Hawa Mahal- is the most important landmark of the Pink city,
Jaipur. It was built in 1799 A.D. Hawa Mahal is a five storey building, along
the main street of the old city with semi octagonal and delicately honey-combed
sandstone windows. The Hawa Mahal was originally built with the aim of helping
the royal ladies to watch the everyday life and royal processions of the city.

Day 07 :: Roopan Garh / Nagaur

Later visit Nagaur fort-which is a sandy fortress. It was constructed in
the 2nd century by the Nagavanshis. This fort houses beautiful palaces,
fountains, temples and gardens. Apart from this fort, Tarkeen Dargah is also a
popular tourist attraction of Nagaur. This Dargah holds immense religious
importance for the followers of Islam.
Nagaur:- is a historic city located
in the state of Rajasthan. It was founded by the Naga Kshatriyas. The city
serves as the headquarters of the Nagaur District. The history of this place
can be traced back to the days of the great epic the Mahabharata. It is said
that the kingdom of Ahichhatrapur covered some areas of the present Nagaur
District. According to mythology, the great Arjuna conquered Ahichhatrapur and
offered it to his mentor, Guru Dronacharya.

Day 08 :: Nagaur / Phalodi (155 Kms/ 2-3 Hrs)

Phalodi-is an old caravan center in the Thar Desert. This town was a
trading center being on the land route from North Western India into Central
India. The area saw a lot of movement in those times. In the books of history
this town was famous for Jain and Hindu temples. It is believed that some of
these temples are over 300 years old. There are a number of havelis in Phalodi.
Most of them are typical in their style. Most of the havelis have their
entrances towards the main road; special attention has been given in building
Jharokhas and Jaalis to keep womenfolk in seclusion. Nearly all of them are
painted in vibrant colors. Temples prefer bright yellow for the doors, a
fabulous combination against pristine whitewashed walls, the sand and the
colorful attire of the womenfolk. Phalodi town is famous for its delicate
'jooti' (Footwear). These shoes come in various shapes and sizes but will be
decorated with heavy embroidery. You can bargain and buy some of these. If you
like bangles then this place has to offer a lot. You can find it wherever you
go in the town. A small bead jeweler's shop quickly puts together Bishnoi style
necklace complete with enormous pendants. Correspondingly, workmanship and
artistry of a high order also appears to be an inborn gift of the people here.
Day 09 :: Phalodi / Pokhran (65 Kms/ 1-2 Hrs)

Rajasthan (India). Bishnoi is not only a caste it is simple art of living. A
person who follow 29 rules laid by Guru Jambheshvar Ji is a Bishnoi (unteesh
dharma ki aankadi, hridhya dhare joye, bishnoi naam soy). All the 29 rules have
no complicated rituals. It is simple and scientific way of living. Most of
rules are either to protect environment or for personal hygiene.

After breakfast full day visit of
City Palace- It is a majestic architectural wonder, towering over
the lake on a hill, surrounded by crenellated walls, it is a conglomeration of
courtyards, pavilions, terraces, corridors, rooms and hanging gardens. The main
entrance is through the triple arched gate, the 'Tripolia' with eight marble
porticos. Visit Jagdish Temple- This temple was built in 1651 A.D. by
Maharana Jagat Singh. This Indo-Aryan temple is the largest and the most
beautiful temple of Udaipur with its remarkable sculpted images. Saheliyon-ki-Bari
(Garden of the maids of Honor) - This small garden was a popular relaxing
spot of royal ladies, who came for a stroll and hence the name. The garden has
many fountains in its four delightful pools, chiseled kiosks and marble
elephants. Also visit Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir- It is folk arts
museum with an interesting collection of Indian folk arts, folk dresses, ornaments,
puppets, masks, dolls, folk musical instruments, folk deities and paintings. In
the evening enjoy boat ride in Lake Pichola.

Fort-Agra Fort is located on the right bank of the river Yamuna in
the city of Agra in Uttar Pradesh. Later visit Itmatu ud Daulah tomb also
known as Baby Taj-Itmad-ud-daula has a special place in the chronicles
of both history as well as architecture. This is precisely because Itmad ud
Daula is the very first tomb in India that is entirely made out of Marble. This
is actually a mausoleum that overlooks the River Yamuna and is a tomb of Mir
Ghiyas Beg, a minister in the court of Shah Jahan.
